OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Police in Oil City are asking for the public’s assistance finding a man accused of assaulting a woman earlier this month.

Around 3:57 a.m. on Monday, November 12, the Oil City Police Department received radio dispatch for a physical domestic dispute along Hoffman Avenue.

Upon their arrival, the officers made contact with a known female who had signs of recent physical injuries. The officers were then informed that 36-year-old Timothy Mark Mellring physically assaulted her.

The Oil City Police Department subsequently issued a warrant for Mellring’s arrest.

Mellring is approximately 6’1″ tall, 180 to 200 pounds, with light brown hair and blue eyes.
