OIL CITY, Pa. – The Oil City YMCA has expanded its Gymnastics programming and will begin offering new classes in December.

Head Coach Bailey Lewis Donaldson has announced several new programs including Flip ‘N Dip, Pre-K Gymnastics, Pre-Team Gymnastics, NinjaNastics.  She is also accepting new participants on the Gymnastics Team, which is a competitive program for levels 2-9.

The YMCA welcomed Bailey Lewis-Donaldson to the coaching staff in September 2021. Bailey has trained and competed in gymnastics locally and is knowledgeable in various styles of dance. Bailey had been the preschool, recreational and competitive team coach at Leap of Faith Gymnastics in Clarion, a family-owned business from 2009 through 2020 until the sudden passing of her father, Jon. Up until then, the gym had trained hundreds of gymnasts, including 2019 & 2020 repeat USAG State Champion and the 2018 USAG State Vault Champion. Leap of Faith gymnastics, with Bailey at the helm, sent several gymnasts to be accepted to train at Chow’s Olympic Training Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Bailey especially enjoys specializing in technique, drills, and choreography and loves each of the events in their own way.  She is also a 2020 Clarion University Graduate in Real Estate and Paralegal studies and she and her husband Tyler welcomed a little boy, River, in April 2021.
YMCA gymnastics programs run monthly and registration is now open for December.
