SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — A 28-point first quarter effort from Slippery Rock doomed the Oilers, as they dropped a 52-18 decision against the Rockets.

Slippery Rock was simply too tough for the Oilers, who have put together some strong performances as of late. The Rockets shot out to a 40-5 lead after the first half, slowing down their pace during the second half. Ashlee Shreckengost and Chloe Terwilliger each led Oil City with five points.

The Oilers fall to 2-8 after the loss.
