It only took the Oilers 22 seconds to get on the board with a 23 yard Cam Russell run. It was the Oilers first play from scrimmage after recovering a Franklin fumble on the opening drive.

Russell continued the scoring with a 78-yard first quarter run and the Oilers never looked back, taking a commanding 45-0 lead at halftime.

Russell finished the night with 161 yards on five carries and three touchdowns. Isaiah Aeschbacher added 107 yards rushing and two touchdowns while Holden Stahl picked up 46 yards rushing and two scores. JT Stahlman hauled in two receptions for 91 yards, including a 59-yard TD reception from Dakota Cole.

The game marked the 142nd meeting in the history of the rivalry and second of the season. Oil City won the first meeting 68-6.

The Oilers will look to continue the momentum as they take a perfect 6-0 regular season record into the District 10 playoffs next week against an opponent to be determined.
