One Injured in Two-Car Crash in Clinton Township
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say around 6:55 a.m. on December 1, a two-car accident occurred on Emlenton Street in Clinton Township, Venango County.
According to police, 57-year-old James D. Winger of Grove City and 60-year-old John a. Romanko of Mercer were involved in the collision.
Police say this crash occurred as Winger was delivering papers in a 2004 Honda CRV and was crossing over into the oncoming traffic lane at the crest of a hill.
Romanko struck Winger in the eastbound travel lane in a 1991 Chevrolet Cavalier.
Winger was using a seat belt and was not injured.
Romanko was also using a seat belt and suffered minor injuries.
Clintonville Emergency Medical Services transported him to Grove City Medical Center.
Winger was charged with a traffic violation.
