One Person Transported to UPMC Northwest Following ATV Crash in Kennerdell

ROCKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — At least one person was transported to UPMC Northwest by ambulance early Sunday morning from the scene of an ATV crash in Kennerdell.

A representative of Venango County 9-1-1 told exploreVenango.com they received a call reporting an ATV crash in the area of 2463 Kennerdell Road in Rockland Township around 3:01 a.m. on Sunday, June 28.

Kennerdell Volunteer Fire Department, Rockland Volunteer Fire Department, Community Ambulance Service, and Franklin-based State Police were dispatched to the scene.

STAT MedEvac was also initially dispatched, but was unable to transport due to adverse weather conditions.

According to the 9-1-1 representative, at least one person was transported to UPMC Northwest from the scene.

The scene was cleared around 4:27 a.m.

No additional details are available at this time.

Police are expected to release information on the accident within the next 48 hours.
