RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, a one-vehicle accident occurred yesterday morning on State Route 38, north of Novak Lane, in Richland Township, Venango County.

Police say this crash happened around 11:30 a.m. as a 2002 Ford Ranger — driven by 24-year-old Dylan C. Kahle, of Knox — was traveling south on Route 38. Kahle lost control of the vehicle, and it went off the roadway striking the east embankment. The vehicle then traveled across both lanes, struck the west embankment, and overturned.

Kahle was not injured.

Two passengers — 23-year-old Ashley A. Kahle and a one-year-old female, both of Knox — were uninjured; however, they were transported to UPMC Northwest for precautionary measures.

All occupants were using their seat belts.

Dylan Kahle was charged with a traffic violation.

Richland Township Volunteer Fire Department, Community Ambulance, and Minich’s Towing assisted at the scene.
