Thumbnail[1]Philip L. Latshaw, 77, of Pleasantville, passed away on Wednesday, December 30 at 2:50 a.m. at the Titusville Area Hospital.

Born October 18th, 1938 in Franklin, Philip was the son of the late Paul and Ruth Sarver Latshaw. He was married to Arvilla Beers on January 17, 1959, who survives. Philip worked as a foreman in maintenance at Two Mile Run State Park.

In his spare time, Philip enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing bingo, gardening, and was a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan.

In addition to his wife, Philip is survived by his 4 sons: Philip L. Latshaw, Jr., and his wife, Valerie, of Rockland; Robert D. Latshaw, and his wife, Kim, of Omaha, NB; Paul A. “Buzz” Latshaw, and his companion, Tammy McElhaney, of Franklin; and Kevin W. Latshaw, and his wife, Lillie, of Pleasantville. He is also survived by his 2 daughters: Kimberly Tarr, and her husband, Timothy, of Cooperstown; and Karen Watson, and her husband, Michael, of Lebanon, TN. Philip is additionally survived by his 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents; his two brothers: Kenneth and Richard Latshaw; his sister, Barbara Wood; his infant sister, Shirley Latshaw; and his great-granddaughter, Hope Latshaw.

Friends and family will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street in Franklin, on Saturday, January 2 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, following visitation.
