4th Annual Pi Day Pi K Race Set for March 10

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Oil City High School’s Math and Physics Club will be hosting the 4th annual Pi Day Pi K on March 10, at the Oil City Middle School.

This race is a fundraiser for a scholarship that will be awarded to a member of the club who will be attending a four-year post-secondary school majoring in a math or science field. This is a 5k road race that will start and end at Oil City Middle School.

Walkers will start at 9:00 a.m. and runners at 9:30 a.m.

Pre-registration for the race ends March 1. The cost is $20.00 to pre-register and that will get you a t-shirt, a small pie, a banana, and a bottle of water.

Race day registration will be $25.00 with no guarantee of a shirt.

Prizes will be awarded for multiple age groups for both men and women, and there will also be a prize for the best costume. For more information about the race, and for a registration form, please visit the Pi Day Pi K website.
