Police Ask Public’s Help Identifying Suspect in Barkeyville Burglaries

BARKEYVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Franklin are asking for the public’s help with information regarding two possibly related burglaries in Barkeyville.

According to a release issued by PSP Franklin on Thursday, March 16, troopers are investigating two separate incidents at the same location involving the individual in the attached photos.

Police say the individual in the pictures was caught on camera by the property owner attempting to enter an old residence and a garage off of Log Cemetery Road in Barkeyville, Venango County.

The individual was observed on the property on Wednesday, March 1, and Monday, March 13.

Police believe the individual is stealing or attempting to steal miscellaneous pieces of scrap metal. It is also believed the individual is operating a dual-wheeled pickup truck.

The male individual appears to be a white male with a full beard in his early to mid-30s, police say.
