VICTORY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say charges are pending in an alcohol-related crash in Victory Township, Venango County.

Police say around 2:28 a.m. on October 27, 2012, 40-year-old Gregg Lopata fell asleep at the wheel of a blue 1999 Ford Escort and crashed on Old Route 8.

He was transported to Grove City Medical Center with moderate injuries.

According to police, alcohol was a factor in this crash.

Police say legal blood was drawn from Lopata.

Charges are pending outcome of results of chemical test.
