Police: Franklin Woman Allegedly Punches, Kicks, Chokes Woman in Front of Her Children

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — A Franklin woman was arrested following a Domestic Assault that occurred on 15th Street, in Franklin, Venango County.

Around 7:50 p.m. on January 17, Franklin Police were dispatched to 15th Street for a report of a 911 hang up call in which a lot of screaming and yelling was heard in the background, police say.

Officers arrived on the scene and determined that 29-year-old Natasha Sue Sabisch, of Franklin, assaulted a known woman in the presence of her three young children, according to police.

It is alleged that Sabisch had returned to the residence highly intoxicated and punched, kicked, and choked the known woman, who suffered minor injuries, police say.

Sabisch was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
– Endangering Welfare of Children -Parent/Guardian/Other Commits Offense, Misdemeanor 1
– Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary

She is currently on probation. After being arraigned in front of Judge Lowry, she was lodged in the Venango County Jail on a parole detainer.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on January 21 in Venango County Central Court.
