FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — A Franklin woman is facing charges after she allegedly punched, choked, and threatened to kill a man during a domestic dispute.

Court documents indicate the Franklin Police Department filed criminal charges against 45-year-old Amy Suzette Harrington on November 20.

According to a criminal complaint, around 4:08 p.m. on November 20, Franklin Police were dispatched to a residence on Elk Street for a report of a domestic assault.

Police observed a bite mark on the victim’s left cheek, bleeding from the victim’s nose, and a laceration to the victim’s lip, the complaint notes.

The victim reported that he and Harrington were in a heated argument, and Harrington held him down and struck him then placed her hands around his neck and obstructed his ability to breathe while stating she was “going to (expletive) kill him,” according to the complaint.

When police made contact with Harrington, she reportedly admitted to punching the victim in the face, pinning him to the bed, placing her hands around his throat, and threatening to kill him while taunting him with her cell phone to call 9-1-1, the complaint indicates.

Harrington was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Matthew T. Kirtland at 6:25 p.m. on November 20, on the following charges:
