Police Investigating Shots Fired in Cornplanter Township

CORNPLANTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say an incident of Criminal Mischief occurred on West Walnut Bend Road, in Cornplanter Township, Venango County.

According to police, sometime between 12:00 p.m. on October 13 and 12:00 p.m. on October 20, an unknown perpetrator(s) discharged a firearm nine times into an unoccupied structure damaging metal siding located on the walls of the building.

The victim is a 42-year-old man.

The perpetrator(s) then fled in an unknown direction.

No other information was provided.
