JENKS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police say yesterday an incident of Aggravated Harassment by Prisoner occurred at SCI-Forest, Jenks Township, Forest County.

According to police, an assault investigation was conducted at SCI-Forest after a known, 45-year-old male inmate allegedly assaulted a correction officer sometime between 7:50 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on March 13.

Police say the assault resulted in minor injuries to the victim, a known 38-year-old Brookville man.

The investigation continues.
