Police Investigating Burglary in Cornplanter Township

CORNPLANTER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police are investigating a burglary that took place earlier this month in Cornplanter Township.

Around 1:08 p.m. on October 13, Franklin-based State Police were dispatched to a camp on Mountain View Road in Cornplanter Township for a report of a burglary.

Police say a 63-year-old male victim from Harmony, Pa., reported that unknown individual(s) entered his camp by cutting the screen mesh on the porch and then forcing their way into the building through a locked door.

According to police, inside the residence, the individual(s) took food and drinks from the refrigerator before leaving in an unknown direction.

Police say approximately $100.00 damage was done to a window screen, approximately $200.00 damage was done to a wooden door, and approximately $10.00 of food and beverages were stolen.
