Driver Swerves to Miss Deer, Crashes into Tree

SANDY LAKE TWP, Pa. – A Stoneboro resident was transported to Sharon Regional Hospital with injuries of unknown severity following a single-vehicle accident in Sandy Lake Township, according to a report from the Pennsylvania State Police.

The crash occurred on Hendersonville Road around 5:07 PM on November 17, 2023.

Brandon Milliren, 27, was traveling southbound in a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse when the car struck a deer. The impact caused Milliren to lose control of the vehicle, which then veered off the east side of the road and collided with a tree stump.

Milliren was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. He was transported from the scene by Superior Ambulance Service to Sharon Regional Hospital.

The severity of Milliren’s injuries is currently unknown.

No charges have been filed in connection with the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
