Police Respond to Cranberry Township Apartment Complex for Altercation; Seneca Man Jailed

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police investigated an altercation that occurred on Meadow Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, a fight occurred outside a bar in Oil City in which 24-year-old Jordan Sloan, of Seneca, allegedly instigated and was “beat up” by a known 27-year-old Oil City man.

Police say following the fight, Jordan Sloan, 21-year-old Brandon Sloan, of Oil City, and another male went to a residence on Meadow Road and allegedly caused a disturbance in the apartment complex.

At one point, the three individuals allegedly entered an apartment occupied by two known, intoxicated individuals in a confrontational manner, yelling and threatening. The apartment was occupied by the 27-year-old Oil City man, who was involved in the earlier altercation, and a 21-year-old Seneca woman.

Police say Jordan Sloan allegedly engaged in another physical altercation with the known 27-year-old Oil City man.

According to police, furniture and a door were damaged.

The above incident occurred sometime between 1:40 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. on March 21.

Jordan Sloan has been charged with the following offenses:

  • Criminal Trespass
  • Harassment
  • Public Drunkenness

He was placed in the Venango County Jail on a detainer for violation of his probation, police say.

Brandon Sloan has been charged with Criminal Trespass.
