Police Searching For Suspects Who Stole Catalytic Converter from World of Wheels

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Franklin are asking for the public’s help with information related to a theft of a catalytic converter earlier this week.

Police say the crime occurred at the World of Wheels, along State Route 257, in Cranberry Township, Venango County, at approximately 1:18 a.m., on Monday, June 21.

The suspect vehicle is described as a blue and silver two-tone pickup truck with a toolbox in the bed. Police believe the vehicle is a Chevrolet or Dodge.

The two suspects and vehicle were caught on numerous cameras along SR-257, according to police.

The value of the catalytic converter, taken from a 2021 Ford, is listed as $3,374.82.

The investigation is ongoing.
