State Police Respond to Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 257

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A two-vehicle crash occurred on Saturday morning on State Route 257 in Cranberry Township.

According to Franklin-based State Police, 23-year-old Lucas S. Fox, of Franklin, and 75-year-old Gerald L. Manross, of Kennerdell, were involved in the collision.

Police say the accident occurred around 8:54 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, as Fox was traveling south on State Route 257 in Seneca, and his 2007 Acura rear-ended Manross’ 2001 Dodge Ram.

Neither driver reported any injuries at the time of the crash.

Fox was not using a seat belt, and Manross was using one.

While the Acura sustained disabling damage, the Dodge only sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.

Venango Towing removed the Acura from the scene.

Fox was charged with a traffic violation.
