Police Seek Information on Sign Stolen in Pittsfield Township; Owner Offering Reward

PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Warren-based State Police say a theft occurred at State Route 6/27 split at the Old Pittsfield School, in Pittsfield Township, Warren County.

According to police, sometime between 8:00 p.m. on December 25 and 10:30 a.m. on December 26, an unknown perpetrator(s) took an 8′ by 4′ wooden sign with the words “Buying Standing Timber.”

The victim is Wilson Hardwood, Inc., Titusville, Pa.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Warren at 814-728-3600.

Police say the owner is offering a reward to anyone who gives information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator(s).
