Police Serve Warrant in Franklin, Arrest Man for Drug Possession

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin Police, a warrant arrest that occurred in the City of Franklin yesterday resulted in a drug arrest.

Around 11:42 p.m., while on patrol, officers observed 38-year-old Nathan Turk entering an establishment in the area of 8th and Liberty Streets.

Police say Turk was known to officers to have a warrant for his arrest through another Venango County Agency.

He was taken into custody by officers on the warrant, and he was allegedly found to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Turk was transported to the Franklin Police Department where he was processed on the drug violation charges and turned over on the warrant, police say.

No other information was provided.
