FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — A Polk man, who is awaiting a preliminary hearing for child endangerment and DUI related charges, faces new charges of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, according to Franklin Police.

Police say around 2:30 a.m. on August 1, 21-year-old Marshall H. Feltenberger, II, of Polk, was allegedly drunk and disorderly while being outside, awaking and alarming several households in the neighborhood.

Police arrived on the scene and discovered that Feltenberger had been in an altercation with another male who was trying to get him to calm down, according to police.

Feltenberger allegedly fled from the scene as police arrived and was found in a yard next door, police say.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Franklin Police Department, according to police.

While at Franklin Police Department, Feltenberger allegedly “became so disorderly, screaming and spitting and refusing to calm down,” that he was transported to the Venango County Jail on a Commitment Order issued by Magistrate Fish, police say.

He was charged with two summary offenses: Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct, according to police.

Citations were issued to Feltenberger upon his release from Venango County Jail, police say.

No other information was provided.
