Police Respond to Rollover Crash on Route 8

IRWIN TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say a rollover crash occurred on Sunday morning on Route 8, north of Slippery Rock Creek Road, in Irwin Township, Venango County.

According to police, around 8:27 a.m. on July 30, a 2003 Honda Accord was traveling northbound on Route 8, and the driver – 22-year-old Shelby S. Pepmeyer, of Connoquenessing, Pa. – lost control of it.

It traveled into the southbound lane and then continued to travel in a northwesterly direction and left the roadway via the west berm and then overturned.

The car came to a rest on its drivers’ side.

Pepmeyer was using a seat belt. The airbags were not deployed.

Superior Ambulance transported her to Grove City Memorial Hospital for arm pain.

She was charged with a traffic violation.

Hovis Auto Wrecking removed the car from the scene.
