ROCKLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin State Police say a one-car accident occurred in Rockland Township, Venango County, Pa.

According to police, around 12:30 a.m. on October 29, 2012, 18-year-old Kaitlyn A. Stempel of New Freedom, Pa., was driving a 2009 Mazda 6 on US 322, west of Hepler Road, and left the north berm of the roadway and struck a large rock.

Police say this caused the vehicle to enter back onto the roadway and rollover onto its driver side, then back on its wheels.

Stempel was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries.

Shippenville Ambulance transported her to UPMC Northwest.

She was cited for a traffic violation.
