Rouseville Man Escapes Injury in One-Vehicle Crash in Cornplanter Township

CORNPLANTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, around 12:00 p.m. on May 4, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Rynd Hill Farm Road, 1/2 mile north of Union Street, in Cornplanter Township, Venango County.

Police say 20-year-old Jacob D. Wimer, of Rouseville, was traveling north on Rynd Hill Farm Road, and his 1999 Ford Ranger lost traction on the dirt surface, left the east berm of the roadway, and struck the embankment.

According to police, the vehicle traveled back onto the roadway and came to a rest facing east.

Wimer was using a seat belt and was not injured.

He was charged with a traffic violation.
