Roving DUI Patrols & Sobriety Checkpoints Planned

VENANGO COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin State Police say roving DUI patrols and sobriety checkpoints will be conducted in various location throughout Venango County during the month of April.

In an attempt to reduce alcohol related traffic crashes and to promote public safety and traffic safety, members from Troop “E” Erie and PSP Franklin will continue to concentrate their efforts on the apprehension of intoxicated and impaired operators throughout Venango County over the next several weeks by using roving DUI patrols and sobriety checkpoints.
