Sandra L. (McKean) Zimmerman, 66, of Sugarcreek Station in Franklin, formerly of Pleasantville, died Friday night, July 27, 2012 in UPMC Northwest following a brief illness.

Born July 17, 1946 in Oil City, she was the daughter of the late Herb and Dorothy Kimes Dillemuth.

She attended Oil City schools.

Sandra was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and attended the Shamburg Christian Church in Pleasantville.

She enjoyed painting and was a Tri-Chem art dealer. She also had a love for collecting anything pertaining to pigs, and cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Zimmerman was a dedicated homemaker.

Surviving are three children, Edwin McKean and wife Bonnie of Ravenna, Ohio; Jeff McKean and wife Joanne of Titusville; and Crystal Beamer and husband Brandon of Warriors Mark; five grandchildren, Scott McKean, Elizabeth Stroup, Dustin McKean, Maddison Beamer and Austin Beamer; four great-grandchildren, Devin McKean, Kaydence McKean, Dakota Stroup, and Lilliona Stroup; a brother, Terry Kline and wife Cathy of Oil City; a sister, Donna Sutton of Oil City; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Anna Kimes.

Friends will be received Tuesday (July 31st) from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Hile-Best Funeral Home, Inc., 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, Cranberry Township. Funeral services will follow from the funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Doug Hepler, former pastor of the Shamburg Christian Church, officiating.

Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery near Pleasantville.
