Seneca Man Allegedly Threatens Victims, Discharges Firearm During Domestic Dispute

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police an alleged assault occurred on Horsecreek Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Police say around 11:50 p.m. on July 11, 51-year-old Michael James Reno, of Seneca, allegedly threatened the following victims and then discharged a firearm in the direction of one of the victims during a domestic dispute:

– known 51-year-old female, of Seneca
– known 25-year-old male, of Pittsburgh
– known 29-year-old male, of Seneca

Reno was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish.

He was charged with the following offenses:

– Aggravated Assault
– Discharge of a Firearm into an Occupied Structure
– Terroristic Threats
– Simple Assault
– Recklessly Endangering Another Person
– Harassment

Bail was set at $125,000.00 (straight), and Reno failed to post bail.

He was committed to the Venango County Jail.
