VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — A Seneca man who allegedly sent explicit photos of a woman to her husband, then contacted her in violation of a protection from abuse order waived his hearing on Wednesday.

Court documents indicate the following charges against 46-year-old Jeremy M. Roadman were waived for court on Wednesday, July 8:

– Stalking — Repeatedly Communicate To Cause Fear, Misdemeanor 1
– Unlawful Dissemination of Intimate Image, Misdemeanor 2
– Harassment — Communicate Repeatedly in Another Manner, Misdemeanor 3

The charges have been transferred to the Venango County Court of Common Pleas.

Roadman remains lodged in the Venango County Jail on $5,000.00 monetary bail.

The charges stem from an incident in Sugarcreek Borough in late June.

Details of the case:

According to a criminal complaint, around 12:15 p.m. on June 22, a known female victim contacted Sugarcreek Borough Police and stated that Jeremy Roadman had violated a Protection From Abuse order (PFA) that she had against him.

The victim reported Roadman had sent explicit images of the victim to her husband and had sent her emails indicating he knew he had “screwed up,” and saying he had “accidentally” sent the pictures and that he was “sooooo f****** sorry,” according to the complaint.

The complaint notes the victim forwarded the email to the police department for review and also showed police the text messages from Roadman to the victim’s husband, which included numerous naked photos of the victim’s face and genital area.

Police then went to speak to Roadman. The complaint states Roadman was compliant and unlocked and turned over his phone as evidence.

While being transported, Roadman spontaneously stated he “knew he messed up,” and said he “accidentally sent the text” to the victim’s husband. He also reportedly said he knew he was not allowed to email the victim unless it was regarding their child, the complaint indicates.

The charges were filed against Roadman through Magisterial District Judge Patrick E. Lowrey’s office on Tuesday, June 23.
