Senior Spotlight: Abigail Sloss
With graduation ceremonies being affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic, Explore Your Town, Inc. and several area businesses have teamed up to help recognize local high school seniors. Today’s featured graduating senior is Abigail Sloss.

Parents: Dennis and Wendy Sloss

Tell us about yourself: I was in choir for six years. I like to paint and work with clay. I also like to spend time with my friends and my nieces and nephews. I work at a after school program called Youth Alternatives with kids from the ages of kindergarten though sixth grade.
School activities and sports: Choir, Hope and Change, Class Council
Favorite teacher: Mrs. Riley
Favorite subject: English
Favorite memories from school: Pep Rallies
Future plans: I am going to college at Westminster to study Child and Family Studies.
Advice for future students: Take every chance you get and never take anything for granted. Live your life how you want to don’t let others decide for you.
Favorite jokes: How do you make a tissue dance?… put a little boogie in it!
Favorite bands: I don’t have any.
Favorite movies: High School Musical
Favorite celebrity: Ian Somerhalder
What is your least favorite cafeteria food? Walk and Roll
Is cereal soup? Why or why not? No, you don’t cook cereal.

Thank you’s: My mom, Nana, Amber and my grandma sue thank you guys for everything you have done for and continue to do.
Anything else you’d like to include: I wish my fellow seniors luck with their future and I hope they accomplish great things.
