| May 19, 2020

With graduation ceremonies being affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic, Explore Your Town, Inc. and several area businesses have teamed up to help recognize local high school seniors. Today’s featured graduating senior is Trevor Gladin.

Name: Trevor Gladin
School: Cranberry Area High School
Hometown: Oil City

Tell us about yourself: I’m am a high school senior graduating with Honors from Cranberry Area High School. I am a 3-year starter in the infield for the varsity baseball team where I received 2nd Team All-Conference as a Freshman and 1st Team All-Conference honors as a sophomore and junior. Unfortunately, my opportunity to compete as a senior was taken away due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a senior, I qualified for the district and regional chorus. I also earned an invite to the State Chorus Festival which was to be held near the Poconos but that too was canceled.

Throughout my high school experience I was able to build strong relationships and built lifelong memories with peers and teachers alike. I’d like to thank all of my teachers and especially our principal, Mr. Smith, for his endless support and encouragement. My parents and sister have been extremely supportive of me throughout this venture and I feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to continue my educational journey at Edinboro University in the fall of 2020 where I will major in Actuarial Science.
