Senior Spotlight: Franklin’s Alicia Hawke

With graduation ceremonies being affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic, Explore Your Town, Inc. and several area businesses have teamed up to help recognize local high school seniors. Today’s featured graduating senior is Alicia Hawke.

Name: Alicia Hawke
School: Franklin
Hometown: Franklin
Parents: Brandi Hawke and David Hawke

Tell us about yourself: I am a 2020 graduate of Franklin Area High School. Currently, I’m working three jobs and trying to figure out what the future holds for me.

School activities and sports: Four years of marching band, two years of choir, three years of French.

Favorite teacher: Mr. Gustafson and Mrs. Cowart

Favorite subject: English

Favorite memories from school: Any projects that dealt with filming, and sitting outside for lunch.

Future plans: I am currently undecided on what I’d like to do in the future.

Advice for future students: Always work hard and do your assignments. Never be afraid to ask for help. Help out the underclassmen as much as possible!!

Pets: Cat – Rusty

Favorite joke: Why do seagulls fly over the sea? Because if they flew over the bay, they would be bagels!

Favorite bands: Khalid, BROCKHAMPTON, Snow Tha Product, Blackbear

Favorite movies: Step Brothers Ashton Kutcher, Zac Efron, Jennifer Aniston

What is your least favorite cafeteria food? Honestly, all of it.

Is cereal soup? Why or why not? I don’t know, you tell me.

Toilet paper, over or under? Over

Thank you’s: Thank you to my mother for never giving up on me no matter how hard things got. I appreciate you the most. Also thank you to my cousin Carleigh for constantly pushing me to do better. Thank you Emma G. and Lexi J. for helping me through my hardest times. I couldn’t have done it without you guys!

Anything else that you’d like to include: Word of advice: don’t take high school for granted. Although this year was cut short completely unexpected, I have to admit I will miss it! Make the most out of your high school years. Congratulations to all my senior friends.
