Name: Hunter Wood
School: Oil City
Hometown: Oil City
Parents: Kimberly Boone

Tell us about yourself: I have recently enlisted in the Marine Corps, which I cannot wait to leave for. Even though I can’t enjoy my senior year outside, I still find ways to smile and laugh with friends. I try to be optimistic in these rough times. Here’s to an amazing future for all my fellow seniors!

School activities and sports: Football, Cross-country, welding engineer vo-tech

Favorite teacher: Steve Luxbacher

Favorite subject: Science

Favorite memories from school: 7th grade Mr. Logue’s class!

Future plans: Marine Corps

Advice for future students: No matter how boring it seems, get your work done. You may not be the first in your family to graduate but you can be the first with straight A’s.

Pets: Maverick (German shepherd)

Favorite joke: What’s red, tastes good and is bad for you? A brick.

Favorite bands: Nicole Back, D12, Shinedown, Linkin Park, Godsmack

Favorite movies: Friday the 13th franchise

Who is your favorite celebrity or athlete? JuJu Smith-Schuster

What is your least favorite cafeteria food? The Mac Attack

Is cereal soup? Could be. Soup is hot but if you want to get technical it’s only soup if you make it soup.

Toilet paper, over or under? Over

Thank you’s: My mother Kim Boone for everything she has done for me. My aunt Brandy Hinojosa for all the inspiration she has given me. My stepfather Jeremiah Boone for always being there. My cousin Raymond Hinojosa for being my best friend from day one. My grandparents Tina Eckley and Karen Boone and Ernie Boone for loving me even when I was a nuisance.

Anything else you’d like to include: When in doubt, Full Send. Life is too short to say no. Is a hot dog a sandwich? Does a straw have 1 hole or 2 holes?
