Several Crews Battle House Fire in Jackson Township

JACKSON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Several Venango County volunteer fire departments responded to a structure fire Wednesday night in Jackson Township.

According to Venango County 911, the call came in at 8:13 p.m. for a fire at a single-story residence on Boals Road.

The home was fully engulfed when the Cooperstown Volunteer Fire Department arrived.

No injuries were reported and the Red Cross was contacted to assist the victims of the fire.

Volunteer departments from Utica, Rocky Grove, Oakland, and Chapmanville.

Community Ambulance was also dispatched.

Cochranton Volunteer Fire Department was on standby.

The scene was cleared at 11:22 p.m.
