Snow in the Forecast for This Weekend

VENANGO COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Meteorologists are predicting a light snowfall for Venango County and surrounding areas this weekend.

According to the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, Saturday’s forecast will start with a chance of rain showers before 7am, then a chance of rain and snow showers between 7am and 8am, then a chance of rain showers after 8am.

Rain and snow showers are likely on Saturday night, becoming all snow after 2am. A high near 43 is expected for the day with lows near 30. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

On Sunday, snow showers are likely before 9am, with rain showers likely after 10am. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

A chance of rain and snow showers is expected before 11pm Sunday, then a slight chance of snow showers is expected between 11pm and midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Little or no snow accumulation is expected.
