State Police Calls: Harassment, Found Property

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Harassment in Cornplanter Township

According to police, around 12:28 p.m. on September 8, an incident of harassment occurred at a location on South Park Avenue in Cornplanter Township, Venango County.

An individual and a relative – a known 43-year-old Oil City woman – got into a verbal altercation that led to him shoving the woman, police say.

The individual was not cited in the incident due to mental health-related issues being involved, according to police.

Found Property in Cranberry Township

Around 5:20 a.m. on September 13, a lost item was found in the parking lot of the Sheetz located in Cranberry Township, Venango County. The item was then collected by Franklin-based State Police and placed into evidence.

Anyone who lost an item at the Sheetz in Cranberry Township is asked to contact PSP Franklin at 814-676-6596 for further information.
