VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — Area State Police responded to the following incidents:
Domestic Dispute in Cranberry Twp.
Franklin-based State Police have released the details of a domestic dispute that occurred last month in Cranberry Township, Venango County.
Police said the incident happened January 8 around 11:36 a.m. at an Allegheny Avenue residence.
Troopers were dispatched to the residence for a report of an active domestic dispute.
Further investigation revealed that a known suspect engaged in a physical altercation with his parents.
The man reportedly struck his 65-year-old step-father on the wrist and then punched a wall.
Damage to the wall and a lamp was estimated at $100.
No charges were filed due to the victim refusing to cooperate with prosecution of the case.
Troopers Investigating Stolen Vehicle in Richland Township
PSP Clarion is investigating a vehicle that was stolen near Salem Road and TC Road in Richland Township, Clarion County.
According to a release issued on Saturday, February 4, the vehicle–a yellow 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt–was stolen sometime between 6:00 p.m. on December 28 and 12:26 p.m. on January 19.
Police say the victim is a 20-year-old Mercer man.
The investigation continues.
