State Police Calls: Swords, Statues Stolen From Area Residence
VENANGO/FOREST CO., Pa. (EYT) – Area state police responded to the following incidents:
Drug Possession in Cranberry Township
According to a release issued by PSP Franklin on Thursday, March 16, troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu near U.S. Route 322 in Cranberry Township, Venango County, at 3:13 a.m. on Saturday, February 11.
Police say a known 20-year-old Oil City man, and a known 18-year-old woman of Brocton, New York, were found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
No further details were released.
Swords, Statues Stolen From Jenks Township Residence
According to a report released on Friday, March 17, PSP Marienville received a report of a theft near Locust Street in Jenks Township, Forest County.
Police say the victim advised various statues and decorative swords were stolen around 12:00 a.m. on Monday, February 27.
The victim is a 54-year-old Sigel woman.
This investigation is ongoing.
