State Police Calls: Titusville Man Arrested for Threatening to Kill Woman

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police responded to the following incidents:

Theft by Deception in Clinton Township

According to a release issued on September 28, a crime of theft by deception on Bullion Road, in Clinton Township, Venango County, was reported.

Police say the incident occurred around 3:50 p.m. on September 6.

Contact was made with the victim–a 37-year-old Kennerdell woman–in the front lobby of PSP Franklin.

The victim advised that an unknown subject stole money from two of her bank accounts. The total loss was $1,239.93.

Troopers are continuing to investigate.

Titusville Man Arrested for Threatening to Kill Woman

A known 60-year-old male was arrested for threatening to kill a known 60-year-old female.

The incident occurred around 3:25 a.m. on September 21 on Wallacetown Road, in Plum Township, Venango County.

The male was charged with Terrorist Threats and harassment.

The name of the arrestee was not released.

Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

According to a release issued on September 28, the incident occurred around 10:07 p.m. on September 3, on US 322/Egypt Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Police say a traffic stop was conducted on a gold 2010 Chrysler 300.

The passenger of the vehicle–a 21-year-old Erie man–was arrested for Act 64 violations.
