VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police responded to the following incidents:
Victim Taken to Hospital After Assault in Mineral Township
According to a report released on Friday, June 2, PSP Franklin responded to Slatertown Road in Mineral Township, Venango County, for an assault around 9:08 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23.
Police say the suspect fled the scene before troopers arrived.
The victim– a 44-year-old Polk man–was interviewed prior to being transported to a local hospital.
Domestic Dispute in Sugarcreek Borough
Franklin-based State Police responded to a domestic dispute around 8:06 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, on Gilfillian Street in Sugarcreek Borough, Venango County.
Police say all parties involved and neighbors were interviewed.
It was determined that a known 29-year-old Franklin woman struck a 32-year-old Franklin man on the side of his head, according to police.
Charges have been filed.
The suspects names were not released.
