State Police Investigating Burglary at Church Rectory

EAST MEAD TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Meadville-based State Police are currently investigating a burglary that occurred at a Church Rectory in East Mead Township on Sunday.

On February 15, Meadville-based State Police responded to a report of a burglary at a residence/rectory affiliated with St. Hippolyte’s Roman Catholic Church in East Mead Township, Crawford County.

Police say the burglary occurred on February 14, between 10:00 a.m. and noon.

According to police, the items stolen include several miscellaneous rings and jewelry items valued at $200.00, an unknown number of miscellaneous silver coins valued at $400.00, shirt pins valued at $20.00, a silver wristwatch valued at $20.00, and a ziplock bag containing miscellaneous prescription medications valued at $100.00.

The victim is listed as a 71-year-old Guys Mills man.
