State Police Investigating Credit Card Theft of Over $1,500

ROCKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police are investigating an incident of theft by deception that cost two local residents over $1,500.

On December 31, 2020, Franklin-based State Police spoke with a known 63-year-old female victim and a known 39-year-old female victim, both from Kennerdell.

Police say the victims reported they had discovered an unknown individual had stolen money from their bank account multiple times over the last few months.

According to police, the theft totaled $1,501.78.

The investigation is ongoing.
