State Police Release Details of Suspected DUI Crash on Route 62

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police have released the details of a suspected DUI crash that occurred on State Route 62 earlier this month.

According to police, the accident happened around 1:15 p.m. on November 8, on Route 62 in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Police say 25-year-old Cameron London, of West Mifflin, was operating a 2015 Dodge Avenger, traveling north on Route 62 when he lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a righthand curve. The vehicle left the northbound lane, crossed the southbound lane, and struck the guide rail on the west side of the roadway. It then spun clockwise and came to a final rest facing southeast in the southbound lane.

According to police, London was visibly intoxicated and was immediately placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Seneca Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene with traffic control and clean-up.

The vehicle was removed from the scene by Minich’s Towing.
