State Police Release Details on School Bus Crash

SANDYCREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Franklin have released details surrounding a January 29 crash involving a school bus and a car.

Police said a 2013 Dodge Dart operated by Brie C. Oram, 18, of Polk, was traveling north on Pone Lane around 3:16 p.m. when it struck the rear of a 2011 Blue Bird school bus operated by Paul E. Wyant, 58, of Franklin.

The bus was waiting behind a vehicle that was turning left into the parking lot of Franklin Area High School, according to police.

Both drivers and twenty-eight passengers on the bus escaped injury.

Oram’s car sustained disabling damage.

Police said the school bus sustained minor damage to its bumper.

Lowry’s Towing removed the car from the scene.
