State Police Seeking Driver of Ford F-150 Involved in Cornplanter Hit-and-Run

CORNPLANTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police are asking for the public’s help with a recent hit-and-run investigation in Cornplanter Township, Venango County.

Police say the incident happened on April 26 around 8:30 p.m. when an unknown driver lost control of a black Ford F-150 pickup truck while traveling north in the 1400 block of Grandview Road.

The vehicle exited the roadway and crashed into a mailbox before knocking down a fence.

Police say the driver then fled the scene without stopping.

A part found at the scene helped police determine that the year of the vehicle is in the 2012 to 2014 range.

The victim is listed as a known 44-year-old man.
