Teen Accused of Damaging Property, Resisting Arrest in Cornplanter Township

CORNPLANTER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say charges are pending against a teen accused of damaging property and resisting arrest at a location on South Park Avenue.

Around 8:09 a.m. on Monday, December 6, Franklin-based State Police were dispatched to a residence on South Park Avenue in Cornplanter Township, Venango County, for a report of an active domestic incident.

Police say upon further investigation, it was determined that a known 16-year-old male from Oil City was the aggressor in the incident, while a known 45-year-old female and a known 29-year-old female, both also from Oil City, were the victims.

According to police, the teen continued to damage property and resist arrest while in the presence of police at the scene.

The juvenile was subsequently taken into custody and turned over to Juvenile Probation.

Police say related charges are pending.
