Two Vehicles Crash after Police Bust Underage Party

MINERAL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Franklin-based State Police, one teenager was arrested for underage drinking and DUI, and three others were cited for underage drinking in Mineral Twp., Venango Co., Pa.

Police say around midnight yesterday, one teenager was arrested for underage drinking and DUI, and three others were cited for underage drinking at the PA State Game Lands near Krizon Road in Mineral Twp., Venango Co., Pa.

Police arrested 19-year-old Braden Flinspach of Mercer, Pa., for underage drinking and DUI.

Police cited the following individuals for underage drinking:

20-year-old Milena Whiles of Cochranton, Pa.
18-year-old Brandon Riddle of Mercer, Pa.
20-year-old Ryan Peoples of Grove City, Pa.

This incident occurred as the Franklin-based State Police were dispatched to a report of gun shots in the area of the state game lands at the end of Krizon Road.

Upon arrival to the scene, a vehicle was observed coming up the narrow road behind the police.

The vehicle turned around and attempted to flee, but it was subsequently involved in a rollover crash as the unknown driver lost control on the roadway.

The police approached the game lands where a large fire was present; Braden Flinspach fled in his Chevrolet truck.

He failed to see the overturned vehicle and struck it.

Flinspach’s vehicle swerved onto the embankment, and his vehicle rolled over, injuring him.

Flinspach’s two passengers fled the scene into the woods.

At no time were the vehicles involved pursued by police units, but the three cited for underage were apprehended at the party area and taken into custody; others fled into the woods.

Several vehicles were towed from the scene and the investigation continues with more arrests to come.

Polk and Sandy Lake VFD were called to the scene to contain the fire.
