Two Injured in Cranberry Crash

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, a three-vehicle accident occurred in Cranberry Township, Venango County, Pa.

Police say around 3:22 p.m. on October 26, 2012, 82-year-old Jean A. Woods of Oil City, 66-year-old Vicki S. Bradley also of Oil City, and 46-year-old Evelyn K. Lindsey of Franklin were involved in a crash on PA 257 at its intersection with Meadow Road.

According to police, Woods, driving a 2012 KIA Soul and Bradley, driving a 2005 Chevrolet Uplander, were traveling north on SR 257 and were approaching a red light.

Police say Wood failed to stop for the red light and struck Bradley’s vehicle in the rear end causing her to strike Lindsey’s 2005 Hyundai Tucson in the left rear end.

After impact, all three vehicles came to final rest in the right lane.

Woods was wearing a seat belt and received moderate injuries; Community Ambulance transported her to UPMC Northwest.

Bradley was wearing her seat belt and was not injured.

A passenger in Bradley’s vehicle, 39-year-old Jennifer A. Jolley of Oil City was also wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries.

She was transported to UPMC Northwest by Community Ambulance.

Lindsey was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

Woods was cited for a traffic violation.

Seneca Fire Company and Community EMS assisted at the scene.
