Tionesta Teen Accused of Striking Woman on Head, Face Multiple Times

TIONESTA TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police are investigating a case of Simple Assault in Forest County.

According to police, the incident occurred on April 29 around 3:15 p.m. when an 18-year-old Tionesta man allegedly struck a 20-year-old Tionesta female in the face and head multiple times.

She sustained a cut, swollen upper lip, and bruise to the side of her face, as a result of the altercation.

The male was taken into custody and charged with simple assault and harassment.

He was released on $5,000 unsecured bail, and the female was charged with a summary count of harassment for forcibly grabbing the male, police say.
